Gas tax rebate ulimate April Fools
April is almost over, but Congress wants a chance to redo its April 1st fun by giving us either a $100 gas rebate check, or cutting 18 cents a gallon for the summer.
At a time when oil is running out and terrorists are funded by oil-states — why would the U.S. government propose a “gas tax rebate” to help stimulate gasoline use?
As one writer put it regarding Arizona’s attempt to eliminate a gas tax: Gas rebate: It’s a bad joke, right?
This is truly a sick thought from the government.
Nevermind the fact we’re running a deficit, why can’t we have a government that thinks beyond the next election?
